What Exactly is a Life Transition?
A life transition is any season—planned or unexpected—when your circumstances, roles, routines, or priorities begin to change and the way you’ve been managing no longer works.
It may be a divorce, move, loss, career change, downsizing, or starting a business. But it can also be a quieter shift—parenting teenagers instead of young children, becoming an empty nester, returning to work, growing a business, or simply realizing you’re ready for a new chapter.
Even positive change can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next step. You don’t have to be in crisis to need support. If something is shifting in your home, life, or business and you need clarity, structure, and a realistic plan forward, you’re navigating a life transition.

Hi, I’m Jackie!
I’m a Certified Life Coach specializing in life transitions, a Professional Organizer, an Author, and the founder of Chaos Controlled.
I help women who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure what comes next create clarity and structure in their homes, lives, and businesses. Sometimes that means organizing a physical space. Sometimes it means navigating change, rebuilding routines, defining priorities, or creating a realistic plan forward. Often, it’s a blend of both.
As the author of Removed From My Own Life, I understand how deeply a life transition can affect your confidence, identity, surroundings, and sense of direction. My approach combines professional training, lived experience, compassionate coaching, practical organizing, and supportive accountability.
You don’t need to have everything figured out—and you’ll never be judged for where you are now. Together, we’ll take manageable steps toward a life that feels clearer, calmer, and more aligned with who you’re becoming.

I cannot say enough about Jackie and her services.
When I had to clean out my elderly mother’s apartment in Florida and transition her back to Massachusetts because she needed more care, I was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to turn.
